Donation Requests

We believe that we all have the ability to make a positive contribution to out community, whether it is by supporting local organizations with gifts of time, talent or money or simply by sharing a smile with someone who needs one. Because we find that the opportunities to donate exceeds our abilities we have chosen to make local arts organizations the focus our giving. It is our way of helping to support fellow artists.

Over the years we have given to many local non-profits in the arts field, including The Seattle Symphony , The Seattle Art Museum , and The Pilchuck Glass School . Going forward, our donations will continue to benefit the local arts community.

If you are an existing customer and have a donation request that would benefit a local arts organization we encourage you to give us a call.

Non-Profit Discount

In addition to making donations to qualifying arts organizations, we offer a 20% discount on our floral arrangements and plants to all non-profit organizations. This discount may be used on items for delivery or pick up at the studio as well as flowers for events. To make it easy to use we have kept the qualifications very simple:

• The discount is available to any registered 501c3 organization who requests it.

• So that we be as generous as possible with the discount, orders must be placed by phone to qualify. Orders placed online are not eligible for the discount.

• When you call to place your order, let us know the name of your organization and that you would like the non-profit discount, especially if it is the first time that you are ordering with us. We realize that not everyone is aware of the discount and so we try to mention it if we think that your order qualifies. Once we have your organization set up in our system then all future qualifying orders will automatically have the discount applied.

• For gifts to inpiduals, the enclosure card messages must include the name of the non-profit organization that is requesting the discount. The names of inpidual senders may also be included in the message so the recipient knows who to thank.

• The discount is applied to floral arrangements, orchid plants, and succulent planters. Sales tax, delivery fees, floral design classes, on-site labor, vase rentals, or any other expenses are not eligible.

• Flowers for events are subject to our availability, mutual agreement on budget and a signed contract with deposit and payment in full as spelled out in the contract.

• The non-profit discount does not apply to past orders. Once an order has been delivered we are not able to retroactively apply the discount so please be sure to request the discount when you place your order.

That is it. We try to make it as easy as possible to take advantage of the discount so that as many non-profit organizations as possible are able to benefit from it.
