We offer carefully curated works of floral art, made from premium flowers with an emphasis on locally grown and foraged items, and supplemented by cuttings from our little urban flower farm.
We offer delivery from Olympia to Everett. If it is after the cut-off for same-day delivery, please give us a call. We strive to say "yes" and have many clever ways to deliver last-minute orders. Learn new floral design skills with our fun workshops in pavé floral design. From beginners to experienced floral designers, there is something for everyone in our classes. We teach how to build the foundation of a floral arrangement, finishing touches as well as tricks of the trade. Students will learn simple secrets and tools that will last a lifetime so that every time they put flowers into a vase they will last longer. At the end of the evening, they take home an Instagram worthy floral arrangement worth $150 that they have created which has a value of $150 along with a gift bag of tools worth $25 to that will make it even easier create beautiful florals at home.
We were the first florist in Seattle to teach floral design classes in our studio. Our first class was the result of a customer who wanted to throw herself a fun birthday party and asked if we would put on a class for her and a few friends. That was in 2007, and since then hundreds of students have taken our classes and learned valuable tips and techniques to create beautiful and long-lasting arrangements. Our methods are simple, and the techniques are easy to put into use in most styles of floral design. Many of our students have gone on to pursue a career in floral design, while others have put their new skills to use creating beautiful arrangements for personal enjoyment and as gifts.
The classes follow the season, beginning with spring Flowers featuring tulips, followed by designing with peonies then dahlias and finish with fall florals. In addition to the classes in pavé floral design, we offer classes sharing how we create our wildly popular, award-winning texture boxes as well as a class in holiday wreath decorating.
Classes are taught in our studio on the north side of Green Lake. They begin at 6:00 pm and end around 9:30. Students are welcome to stay after class to ask questions or take photographs of their arrangement with our studio lighting. Registration is limited to eight students per class.
It is always more fun to learn with a friend. Select the deluxe version to register with one friend or premium to register with two friends and you will each save $10. Be sure to include the names of who you are registering in the “Special Instructions” section during checkout so that we know who is coming.
Private Classes
Or maybe you would like a class for just you and your besties. Check out our Class Information and the Class FAQ pages for details on how to book a private class. You bring the wine; we will supply the glasses and a really fun time! Private classes are great for team building events, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties and holiday parties.
Gift Certificates
We offer gift certificates for our classes. Let us know in the "Special Instructions" section at checkout that you would like a gift certificate for this class and include the name, phone number and email of the recipient so that we can keep them in the loop about the class. You can also call us to buy a gift certificate that is good for any class.
Registration
Purchasing this item is registering for this specific class. The deluxe version is registration for two people for this class and the premium version registers three people for this class. So that you do not have to pay a delivery charge, checkout defaults to in-store pick up. Be sure to use June 6th, 2024, as the pick-up date. Classes begin at 6 pm but you will be requested to select a time window for pick-up during checkout. Please use 3:00 to 5:00, even though the class begins at 6:00 pm. In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

I loved this class. I learned so much and I am a gardener and flower lover of many years. So much fun and also work. I’ll take a second class so I can absorb more. The peony class was a joy. Wish I could submit a photo. My friends can’t believe I made it Exquisite.
